The Best Of Punta Cana

The Dominican Republic is a great destination for endless sunshine and crystal blue waters. The Dominican Republic shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti, making it the second-largest Caribbean nation, with a population of over 10 million. Punta Cana / Bavaro Beach

Punta Cana is one of the most popular destinations in the Dominican, lined with all inclusive luxury resorts. Bavaro Beach is the place to be. It is one of the most famous and often considered one of the best beaches in the world, for obvious reasons. It was the perfect location with easy access to tours and activities and less than 30 minutes from the airport.

La Romana

The city of La Romana sits on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. La Romana is a charming coastal town with beautiful beaches. Here you will find Altos de Chavón, a beautiful Mediterranean-style village. It’s an artist’s community filled with galleries and shops. The village also hosts events and concerts. You’ll find the chapel where Lisa Marie wed Michael Jackson in 1994!

Isla Catalina

Macao Beach

Macao Beach is a beautiful and relatively unspoiled stretch of coastline located on the eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, near Punta Cana. We stopped here on one of our excursions and I was just taken aback by how beautiful this beach is. Must see!
