Plan Your Perfect Daycation With ResortPass

Dreaming of a vacation but can’t get away? Take a daycation using ResortPass! Resort pass gets you access to resort and boutique hotel pools and spas starting at just $25 per day! It’s the perfect way to try out a resort without spending a ton of money. My husband and I love doing this on our days off! You get all the benefits of the hotel, without the room and the high cost. There are tons of different options on the website, not only in the United States, but in Mexico and the Bahamas as well!

Head over to ResortPass and check out what is available in your area. Prices start at $25 per day and can go up to $100 or more for private cabanas at luxury resorts. So far we have only been to Austin area hotels but I hope to check out some different locations soon! Here are some places I recommend.

Note: I choose my resorts based on the availability of gluten free options for food and beverages

Hotel Van Zandt

Soak up the sun and cool Austin Vibes at Hotel Van Zandt. They have a rooftop boutique salt water pool with lounge chairs and cabanas. We opted for a daybed here and have no regrets. Sip your favorite cocktail poolside and take in the stunning views of downtown. They have a poolside bar and offered gluten free ciders as well. I had an amazing salad from Geraldine’s. Downside was a lot of construction downtown. Valet parking $14.

Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa

Very secluded in the hill country, yet right in Austin, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is the ultimate retreat. They have two outdoor heated pools and an adults only pool and hot tub. I really loved the private adult pool, with its infinity edge overlooking the golf course. Poolside drink service was wonderful. I had an amazing lunch of soup and salad at the clubhouse restaurant. This was a little more pricey but a lovely relaxing day.

Lakeway Resort and Spa

Situated on picturesque Lake Travis, just 25 minutes from downtown Austin, we have been here twice now. If you have little ones they will love the kids’ pool with a waterslide and splash pad. Adults like myself can also enjoy the waterslide! There is a swim-up bar, multi level pool, and a hot tub with sweeping views of Lake Travis. Free Parking is a plus! There is a little snack bar that makes salads and a gluten free grilled cheese.

Day Pass Adult $30/ Child $15/ Infant Free/Cabana $300

Weekends and holidays will obviously be more crowded and harder to get a lounge chair so that’s something to keep in mind. ResortPass has been a really fun and rather inexpensive “date day” or “day-cation” during the summer and I am excited to visit more resorts. I will keep updating my list as we explore new places.

Happy Travels!!
