Austin’s Best Gluten Free Restaurants & Bars
Living life with celiac disease can be stressful when it comes to dining out. We know that gluten free and celiac safe are not the same. You can’t just stop by any drive through and grab a bite with friends. We need to plan our meals out, go over menus, call restaurants, confirm celiac protocols are in place.
I am becoming pretty familiar with some of the places in my hometown and I know where I can go to eat (and drink) safely. Here are some of my favorite places in and around Austin for celiac friendly food and drinks…
Please note…I realize there are other places that offer gluten free, such as bbq and sushi, but since I am vegetarian I don’t venture out to those. I stick to places that have a good selection of vegetarian/vegan options.
I update this post regularly as I find fabulous new celiac friendly spots!
